“We have used Grafikr in connection with the launch and ongoing optimization of our webshops. From the start of the collaboration, there has always been a good dialog and great feedback - not just in relation to the changes that needed to be made by their skilled developers - but in everything related to Shopify. Grafikr is always proactive in their proposed solutions to the problems we have encountered. In a busy day-to-day life, it is a great security to know that Grafikr is never more than a phone call away.”

The challenge
Strategy and execution from the start
Pedestal is a modern Danish design company that really saw the light of day in early 2021 when it launched their Danish webshop.
With the slogan, “Don’t hide your TV. Put it on a pedestal,” Pedestal creates TV stands designs that should be considered a piece of furniture that fits into the interior of Scandinavian homes.
Pedestal has had an ambitious growth plan from the start and was looking for a partner to help create and execute a strategy for Pedestal's launch in Germany. This included both a higher strategic level, and also on a purely functional level.
The team behind Pedestal had heard about us from other ambitious brands, and the decision to collaborate was quickly set in motion.
Concept and solution
Ensuring operations run smoothly and provide the best conditions for success
The choice ultimately landed on Shopify as their solution, as Pedestal needed a CMS that was easy to navigate. It was an important feature that the solution should be easily accessible and understandable for everyone, so that operations, e-com and warehouse could run smoothly and create an efficient and seamless workflow.
With Pedestal's aggressive growth plan, one webshop quickly turned into 3, with Pedestal wanting a localized webshop for the German market and another to cover the rest of the European market.
The solution resulted in a close collaboration, where we provided advice and strategies for the German webshop to meet the specific demands of the market, including payment solutions, social proof, and local adjustments.
We implemented “Href Lang”, which helps Google recognize that there are 3 webshops, each belonging to a different country. This improves both the user experience and SEO performance.
In the construction, we have also had a particularly strong focus on incorporating upselling opportunities by buying accessories on the main products. Everything was designed with ease of purchase in mind, making it simple for visitors to add items like soundbar mounts or shelves that fit the product.
Additionally, we actively integrated Augemented Reality, allowing customers to visualize products in their homes before making a purchase decision.
Result
Ready to reach international heights
The result has primarily been three fully functional webshops covering the Danish, German, and European markets. Pedestal has subsequently seen a doubling in sales from June to August, with a conversion rate now nearly 8 times higher than it was at the beginning.
In addition, SEO rankings have improved and Pedestal's webshops visually reflect the DNA of the brand and help streamline the brand.
We help with the development of the country-specific webshops, structuring the CMS, and continued optimization on the ongoing sites with conversion-friendly measures in various forms.
But Pedestal is far from finished here. The future holds continued expansion and ongoing optimization of active landing pages.
“The future prospects for Pedestal include continued expansion and optimization of ongoing webshops. Here Grafikr helps with the development of country-specific webshops, structuring of CMS and continued optimization on the ongoing sites with conversion-friendly measures in various forms”
