How to strengthen digital sales and shopping experiences globally?

This is not the first time SNT and Grafikr have crossed paths. Back in 2018, we delivered a webshop with a unique Shopify Plus solution that matched Shaping New Tomorrow's global growth plans and brand DNA perfectly. This time, however, the project and process were different.

We were the ones who approached Shaping New Tomorrow when a new technology was available. A technology that could simplify and streamline all processes online. The focus of our redesign was therefore more on process optimization instead of performance optimization, so Shaping New Tomorrow was even better equipped for their big adventure abroad.

Concept and solution

A data-driven redesign with a focus on seamless functionality

Shaping New Tomorrow has certainly been riding a wave of success, and the dream of dominating the international ready-to-wear fashion scene has only grown. Despite developing a modern and scalable webshop in 2018, there were still UI and UX processes that could be optimized, minimizing the risk of errors and enhancing the shopping experience.

Instead of Shaping New Tomorrow having to manage their international webshops separately and with individual codes, we synchronized the codes across countries, making it much easier to maintain. At the same time, tons of code were sorted out through scraping, so the webshop got a simpler and tighter code setup. Simplicity is key - just like with Shaping New Tomorrow's design!

As Shaping New Tomorrow grew in popularity and reached new heights, there was also a natural need to expand their product range, so we made it easy to create multiple product categories so they could quickly scale their product range. Significant adjustments were also made on the customer service front, and the complete redesign and rebuild has saved administration time on the webshop for both internal and external stakeholders.

Results

Shaping New Tomorrow 2.0 - Ready for digital growth

When we created version 1.0 of the Shaping New Tomorrow website, it was based on the brand's wishes and many choices were made based on gut feelings. Version 2.0, on the other hand, was built based on data, with a greater focus on streamlining internal and external processes, rather than just performance optimization.

Shaping New Tomorrow has been completely redesigned and optimized to streamline buying experiences, user behavior, administration processes, overall online performance and scaling to new markets. In less than a day, they can replicate all codes to new countries and scale quickly when the need arises. This means that now it’s about how quickly Shaping New Tomorrow can add the correct content to the site, rather than when we can create and launch a new webshop in a new market.

The brand has a much more user-friendly webshop, both for customers and administrators, and the primary focus has been on error-proofing the webshop and making it easier to use for both parties. The user experience has been significantly enhanced, leading to positive results such as higher conversion rates, faster and easier scaling of product offerings, and improved customer service.

Even though version 2.0 is as sharp as the design of the brand, adjustments and support may still be needed along the way. That’s why we are ready to remove unnecessary code and structure the webshop so Shaping New Tomorrow can maintain the same performance level as in version 1.0.
