The challenge

Can an old dog learn new tricks?

Vuffeli has been a loyal client for years, ever since we gave their webshop a makeover in 2021. However, with exponential growth in both interest and sales, it became clear their webshop needed another upgrade to keep up with their rapid development.

Vuffeli won hearts when they appeared on Denmark’s Dragons’ Den (Løvens Hule) with three adorable dogs and their innovative concept: subscription-based dog food. What started as a nutritious alternative to popular dog food has now evolved into a full-fledged community.

However, certain aspects of Vuffeli’s webshop weren’t keeping pace. Their self-service solution, in particular, needed an upgrade, as it had been built in-house in a way that made updates and maintenance time-consuming.

In addition, Vuffeli faced a unique challenge: they were operating two separate websites and wanted to unify them into a single solution. They offered both subscriptions and one-time purchases for the same products, but the separate pricing structures created confusion for customers. The need to consolidate both options on a single product page was essential to create a more intuitive and user-friendly experience where prices could be easily compared.

The solution

It was no small task, but we successfully merged both sites into one seamless webshop. Customers can now view all pricing options—whether for subscriptions or one-time purchases—on the same product page. This makes it easier for users to compare offers and make informed decisions, enhancing the overall user experience.

We also designed a new, optimized self-service solution and loyalty program tailored to Vuffeli’s needs. The new design supports an engaging customer journey and drives higher conversion rates by presenting all relevant offers in a clear and intuitive structure.

Vuffeli’s webshop has now received the same loving care as the dogs enjoying their food. Their loyal customers can now effortlessly navigate the charming Vuffeli universe.

The result

The upgraded website is now both more intuitive and user-friendly. The new platform combines lively design with a robust information structure, making the webshop far more customer-focused. Customers can easily navigate the site, find the products they’re looking for, and clearly compare the different offers.

The new design ensures an enhanced shopping experience, with improved usability driving higher conversion rates and strengthening the bond between Vuffeli and their customers. With this upgrade, Vuffeli is ready to take their growth to the next level—without compromising on user experience or their delightful concept.
