RAINS: Reserve online, pick up in store

Challenge: RAINS, with physical stores all over the world, wanted to create a seamless customer experience where online shoppers could view the availability of products in physical stores and reserve items for pickup at the nearest store. This functionality needed to support their omnichannel strategy and increase consistency between their online and offline presence.

Solution: At Grafikr, we developed an integration between RAINS' Shopify webshops and their POS system, Sitoo. We ensured that the availability of each item in all of RAINS' stores is displayed directly on the product pages, so customers can easily see where the item is in stock. In addition, we made it possible for customers to reserve the item online and pick it up in-store via a “Click & Collect” function.

When a customer makes a reservation, a booking is sent directly to the relevant store via the integration with Sitoo, which manages the stock of each store. The customer then receives a confirmation of the reservation via SMS, where we have implemented an integration with InMobile to send automated SMS messages.

Result: With this solution, RAINS has significantly strengthened their omnichannel strategy. Customers are now able to view real-time stock status and reserve items for pickup in stores worldwide. The automated SMS confirmation ensures that customers receive notification of their reservation quickly and conveniently. This has increased both customer satisfaction and store visits, while creating a stronger connection between RAINS' online and physical stores, which we believe is crucial for successful brands in 2024.

Skechers' Omnichannel Integration

Challenge: Skechers wanted to improve the connection between their physical stores and online shop by displaying the stock status of all items in their stores directly on the product pages. This would allow customers to see the availability of products in their nearest store, strengthening their omnichannel strategy.

Solution: Skechers was already using the POS system Sitoo, and our task at Grafikr was to create an efficient integration between Sitoo and their webshop built on Shopify. The goal was to ensure that the stock levels from the physical stores are updated regularly without burdening the system with constant live updates.

We developed a solution where stock data from Sitoo is retrieved and updated every 30 minutes via a cron job running during business hours. The data is structured and stored on our Vercel server, ensuring fast and reliable stock status updates. When a customer visits a product page, the webshop queries the stock status of the relevant SKUs from the Vercel server, which caches the data for 30 minutes. This process optimizes the speed for future users in the same session so that no more data is queried than necessary.

Result: Skechers' webshop now displays accurate stock information for all physical stores directly on the product pages. This integration creates a seamless experience for customers where they can see if an item is available nearby. At the same time, the solution minimizes system load, resulting in a faster and more stable user experience. This has significantly improved Skechers' omnichannel strategy and optimized the interaction between their physical and online presence.

We have had an extremely positive experience with Grafikr, as Grafikr's expertise and approach has ensured that we can now display stock status from our physical stores directly on the product pages, which has been a key part of our strategy to create a more cohesive omnichannel experience for our customers. This solution has allowed our customers to quickly and easily check if an item is in stock in their local store, which has increased both usability and customer satisfaction. Grafikr has managed to develop a solution where stock data is updated frequently without overloading systems, ensuring a fast and stable solution with correct stock data. Throughout the process, Grafikr has been proactive, solution-oriented and very responsive to our needs. Examples of integrations

Klarborg

Challenge: During Klarborg's transition to Shopify, they needed to integrate their inventory management system, A.N. Deringer, with Shopify to ensure seamless handling of inventory, orders and shipments.

Solution: We developed an automated integration that:

1) Sends orders from Shopify as CSV files via SFTP to the inventory management system.We have worked with the Danish clothing brand Moshi Moshi Mind since the beginning of 2022. In connection with their migration to Shopify, it was necessary to integrate their PIM system, Struct PIM.

Our integration to Struct PIM ensures a smooth transfer of product data, so all product information, descriptions and images flow directly from PIM to Shopify. This makes it easy for Moshi Moshi Mind to maintain and update their product range across platforms, without compromising on data consistency or accuracy. The result is an efficient workflow where product data is always up-to-date and ready for customers.

2) Retrieves shipping notices from SFTP and updates orders in Shopify with tracking numbers.

3) Synchronizes inventory by updating Shopify from a CSV file via SFTP.

Result: This integration has automated Klarborg's inventory processes, ensured accurate inventory data, and improved the customer experience with updated tracking and real-time stock status

Vi har samarbejdet med det danske tøjbrand, Moshi Moshi Mind siden starten af 2022. I forbindelse med deres migration til Shopify var det nødvendigt at integrere deres PIM-system, Struct PIM.

Vores integration til Struct PIM sikrer en gnidningsfri overførsel af produktdata, så alle produktinformationer, beskrivelser og billeder flyder direkte fra PIM til Shopify. Dette gør det nemt for Moshi Moshi Mind at vedligeholde og opdatere deres produktsortiment på tværs af platforme, uden at gå på kompromis med datasammenhæng eller nøjagtighed. Resultatet er en effektiv arbejdsgang, hvor produktdata altid er opdateret og klar til kunderne.
