The challenge
The referee is always right – even when he’s wrong. The same can be said about webshop users. If the webshop doesn’t play by the audience’s rules, it won’t score any goals.
Maybe that was a bit of a stretch as a metaphor, but here’s the point: If a webshop isn’t tailored to its specific audience, it’ll show in the conversion rate.
Let’s see how many more football jokes I can squeeze into a case about dietary supplements.
This was exactly the challenge Puori faced in 2021. That’s why they scouted us for the team. Their ambition to lead the league in dietary supplements required a webshop that matched their high standards and resonated with their audience.
Puori was founded by Oliver Amdrup-Chamby and Julius Heslet with a mission to offer supplements that align with a healthy lifestyle and serious training. The brand is driven by idealism and a desire to deliver pure, transparent, and exceptional products.
No training, no triumphs.
That’s why Puori has put their products through rigorous tests to achieve the level of quality they have today. Every product is thoroughly tested and third-party certified for more than 200 contaminants, including heavy metals, pesticides, and BPA.
But these strong values and unique qualities didn’t come across clearly enough on their previous webshop. At the same time, the platform lacked functionality, making it difficult for Puori’s team to maintain the site.
The solution
It had been a bit of an away game for Puori when it came to apps and code.
Their old setup had its limitations, but by rethinking the platform, we created a solution that met both their technical and aesthetic demands.
We made it easier to maintain and improved the user experience by:
- Integrating subscription offers and one-time purchases on the same product page, so users can easily compare options.
- Creating a robust information structure that highlights both the benefits of the products and the brand’s story, strengthening Puori’s digital identity.
- Ensuring a clean and aesthetic layout that balances information and user-friendliness, so no one gets lost in the details.
Everything was designed with Puori’s specific audience in mind, ensuring the webshop is both professional and intuitive.
The result
Today, Puori’s webshop is far more functional and intuitive. The information structure is now clear and user-friendly, making it easier for customers to navigate the site. This improved customer experience has already led to a higher conversion rate.
At the same time, the platform is much simpler for Puori’s e-commerce team to maintain, freeing up time for other tasks. It’s just a little more fun when the team plays well together.
Most importantly, the strong collaboration with Puori has made it clear that no substitutions were needed before the second half. The constructive sparring we’ve developed through smaller tasks has built the trust for Puori to begin a complete rebuild of their platform—with Grafikr as their trusted partner.
When the webshop is ready for its next upgrade in 2025, Puori will tackle the task with Grafikr by their side.
